These are not selling that well on net-a-porter, possibly because of the hefty $1775 price tag. Maybe they'll go on sale at the end of the season (sometime in December for the US) for 70% off plus an additional 20% off near the end of the sale. Then they'd "only" be around $426.Price tag aside, these are very practical shoes. They're crinkled patent leather, making them less of a fingerprint/dirt magnet, and they have a very manageable 2.5 inch heel. Crystals cover the heels, but they are not the matte kind, kind of smoky and grayish, thereby decreasing the tacky factor. I bet you could even do a bit of walking in the rain with these.
Speaking of gaudy, the other version with two different leopard prints is actually the least appealing that Lanvin has made.
You'd have to be some sort of stylistic saint to pull this off.
