Been Away

School's keeping me very busy, but here's a quick outfit. Look at this gorgeous pearl encrusted dress!
To be worn with:
these Alaia hiking boots with triangular grommets and some nice opaque black tights or these patent YSL Palais wedges with two straps.
How would you accessorize it? I don't want the shoes to be too fussy since there's so much embellishment on the dress.
Hypothetical outfit 2:
vintage YSL silk mousseline blouse, fresh from the mailbox
worn with a charcoal gray wool maxi skirt and
Nicholas Kirkwood for Erdem leather hiking boots (also available in multicolored silk at Saks.com)
I don't love the combo of red/black, so I picked gray. Maybe olive,forest green or chocolate brown would work too.
However, there's an exception for this:
vintage YSL silk and lace blouse with ruffled sleeves. This is so gorgeous in person, much better than in photos.
